Karachi۔ Helvetas Pakistan, Indus Crafts Foundation and Research & Development Foundation will organize an exhibition for flood affected artisans of Sindh province on December 30th and 31st, 2024. The exhibition will be held at the Pakistan Arts Council, Karachi with the aim of highlighting the creativity and skills of handicraft artisans. Sindhi handicrafts are not only a cultural heritage but also a lifeline for rural families, especially women. The 2022 floods affected the artisans of Sindh province the most. In this context, Helvetas Pakistan, Indus Crafts Foundation and Research & Development Foundation have established four Working Spaces for women artisans in districts Khairpur and Tando Allahyar, which will be inaugurated on December 25th and 27th 2024. On this occasion, toolkits will also be distributed to 374 women artisans.
