The Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that there is crucial role of media in the ever changing world of digital information technology, which can’t be overlooked at all.

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that there is crucial role of media in the ever changing world of digital information technology, which can’t be overlooked at all.
He said that media is fourth pillar of the State, and incumbent government fully believes in the freedom of expression.
He said that we would rid of the paper and pen very soon, therefore, we have to have bond with the digital means.
The Governor expressed these views while speaking to the Director General of Public Relations, Noor Khetran who called on him here at the Governor House on Wednesday.
The Governor appreciated performance of the officers of Directorate of Public Relations and said that the talented officers have got remarkable successes on the social media as well.
He said that the officers of DGPR are highlighting positive image of the country and province at every level.
He said that the efforts of DGPR are commendable for playing the role of bridge between the masses and government.
The Governor directed the DGPR to arrange special training for capacity building of the officers and benefitting from the modern technology.
