ANF Cracks Down on Drug Smuggling

Islamabad: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on drug smuggling, arresting 11 suspects and seizing over 308 kg of narcotics worth more than Rs 25 crore.

Operations in Educational Institutions

In Islamabad, two suspects were arrested near a university, and 200 grams of charas were recovered. The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students.

Other ANF Operations
– At Multan Airport, 1.2 kg of ice was seized from a passenger traveling to Riyadh.
– In Karachi, 30.2 kg of ice was recovered from two parcels at a courier office, which were destined for Australia.
– In Quetta, 159 kg of morphine and 53 kg of heroin were seized from various areas of Mastung.
– In Karachi, 40.8 kg of charas was recovered from two motorcyclists in the Musharraf Colony area.
– On the M1 motorway in Islamabad, two operations resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of 9 kg of heroin, 1 kg of opium, 1.6 kg of ice, and 1.2 kg of charas.
– Near the Kak Pul area of Islamabad, 4.2 kg of charas and 500 grams of heroin were seized from a woman.
– In Quetta, 4 kg of heroin was recovered from a suspect near the Sibi Road area.
