One-Stop Protection Center Launched in Hyderabad to Combat Gender-Based Violence_

Hyderabad: The Additional Chief Secretary for Home Department, Sindh, has formally inaugurated the One-Stop Protection Center (OSPC) in Hyderabad. The OSPC aims to provide comprehensive support to individuals affected by gender-based violence, ensuring their rehabilitation, medical, psychological, legal, and social support.

During the inauguration, Additional Secretary for Home Department, Iqbal Memon, assured that the Sindh government will strengthen the OSPC’s agenda and collective efforts against gender-based violence, making it more effective and coordinated for the public and victims of such crimes.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Minister for Women Development, Shahina Sher Ali, UNFPA Sindh Chief, Maqdar Shah, and Country Director of Pathfinder International Pakistan.
