Federal Minister for SAFRON, Kashmir Affairs, and Gilgit-Baltistan, and President of Pakistan Muslim League Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, stated that every citizen of Pakistan would protect the country’s nuclear capability. He emphasized following Quaid-e-Azam’s principles of unity, organization, and discipline, recalling how leader Nawaz Sharif stood firm against American pressure and rejected billions of dollars in offers. Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated that no foreign country will be allowed to interfere in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
He criticized a specific group for prioritizing the interests of one individual over Pakistan’s interests, adding that they would never succeed. The entire nation is proud of the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces, other security agencies, and the public to uphold the country’s flag. He saluted their dedication, particularly those in uniform, who not only guard the borders but also maintain internal peace and security. He condemned campaigns against the armed forces, describing them as equivalent to anti-state activities.
Engineer Amir Muqam reminded the nation that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa supported Pakistan and Quaid-e-Azam during the referendum and continue to protect the country today by sacrificing their lives and resources. He urged the entire nation to recognize the sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s people.
He expressed these views at the PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial secretariat in Peshawar, on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s birthdays. A cake was also cut to commemorate the occasion.
