Commissioner Sibi Division Stresses Accountability and Effective Governance
Ziarat, Dec. 27, A high-level meeting was held in Ziarat, presided over by Commissioner Sibi Division, Syed Zahid Shah. The meeting was attended by officers from all departments of Ziarat district, including Deputy Commissioner Ziarat, Zakaaullah Durrani.
Commissioner Syed Zahid Shah emphasized the importance of accountability and effective governance, directing officers to ensure their presence at their designated places and to make their supporting staff available. He warned that any negligence in official matters would not be tolerated.¹
Shah stressed that the focus should be on education, health, peace, and security. He emphasized that public officials are accountable to the people and must deliver on their promises in a timely manner.
The commissioner also highlighted the importance of preserving Ziarat’s natural beauty, particularly its pine forests. He warned that the cutting of pine trees would not be tolerated and that action would be taken against those responsible under the law.
Shah concluded by urging officers to work as public servants, maintain contact with each other, and resolve public issues effectively.
