Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for Food, Zahoor Shah Toru, has congratulated senior journalist M. Riaz on his election as President of the Peshawar Press Club. The minister also extended felicitations to other newly elected officials, including Vice President Irfan Khan, General Secretary Tayyab Uthman, Joint Secretary Gulzar Muhammad, Finance Secretary Ahtsham Khan, and members of the governing body.

Toru expressed hope that the newly elected cabinet of the Peshawar Press Club would play an effective role in promoting the welfare and freedom of journalists, as well as highlighting national development and public issues in accordance with journalistic values. He emphasized the importance of the journalistic community as a vital pillar of society and expressed optimism that the new cabinet would contribute to the restoration of true democracy in the country.
