Meeting Held to Enhance Infection Control in Sanghar Hospitals
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A consultative meeting under the Infection Prevention and Control Program by Indus Hospital & Health Network was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Sanghar. The session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Imran-ul-Hassan Khawaja and attended by government officials and representatives from non-governmental organizations.
Briefing the participants, Indus Hospital representative Azeem Roonjho highlighted that the program has successfully trained staff in all public and private hospitals across the district. He added, “This year, we aim to work with district administration and the health department to implement measures to improve hospital cleanliness systems. This consultative meeting has been organized to incorporate the valuable input of relevant stakeholders.”
Dr. Imran-ul-Hassan Khawaja praised the efforts of Indus Hospital & Health Network, emphasizing the importance of hospital hygiene. He stressed the need to equip hospital staff with protective gear to ensure their safety. “There is always room for improvement in the healthcare sector, and our administration will support any initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare facilities,” he added.
The meeting also discussed strategies for public awareness campaigns and measures to strengthen infection control and hospital sanitation across Sanghar and other districts in Sindh.
