Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Condemns Firing Incident in Lower Kurram
Peshawar, Jan 4, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has strongly condemned the firing incident on a convoy of government vehicles in the Bagan area of Lower Kurram district. The governor expressed deep sorrow and regret over the injuries sustained by Deputy Commissioner Kurram, Javed Mohsud, and other officials.
Governor Kundi termed the incident as “highly alarming” and a “ghastly conspiracy” aimed at sabotaging the peace efforts of the peace jirga in Kurram. He emphasized the need for a positive role by the local population in collaboration with the government to achieve lasting peace in the district.
The governor prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and expressed his solidarity with the affected families. The incident is a stark reminder of the security challenges faced by the region, and the need for concerted efforts to maintain law and order.
