Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Clears Snow-Covered Roads, Ensures Traffic Flow
Ziarat, Jan. 4: Deputy Commissioner Ziarat, Zakullah Durrani, has successfully cleared snow-covered roads, including Prospect Point Ziarat and Quaid-e-Azam Residency, ensuring smooth traffic flow. The roads were previously blocked due to snow accumulation, causing vehicles to skid and resulting in traffic congestion. To address the issue, salt was sprinkled on the affected areas, resolving the problem.¹
During his visit, Durrani also inspected various locations and reviewed the district administration’s clearance activities. He emphasized that the district administration is aware of the people’s difficulties and is working to address them. The Levies Force and relevant departments are on high alert to ensure the restoration of link roads in Ziarat, which is their top priority.
In addition, measures will be taken to provide all necessary facilities for tourists. A control room has also been established at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Ziarat to monitor the situation.
