Retired Employees’ Convention Held in Tando Adam, Demands Resolution of Pending Issues
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) convention of the retired employees’ organization, Grewa Sindh, was held at in Tando Adam under the chairmanship of Provincial President Sardar Abu Bakar Khaskheli. The event was attended by several provincial and district leaders, including District President Mir Muhammad Dahri, Ghulam Haider Bhagat, Abdul Latif Rajpar, Fazal Kalhoro, Rahid Ali Soomro, Ameer Zadi Baloch, Qasim Pathan, Amanullah Chandio, Madam Safia Abbasi, Ahmed Khan Shar, Muhammad Yousuf Gaho, Mashooq Laghari, Haroon Khaskheli, Hashim Solangi, Fatah Muhammad Buriro, Satram Das, Iqbal Memon, Rasool Bux Mallah, and Ghulam Haider Laghari.
During the convention, the leaders urged the Sindh government to promptly resolve the legitimate issues of retired employees, including the release of group insurance benefits. They emphasized the growing frustration among retirees and warned that if their demands are not met, a strong protest movement will be launched under the banner of Griwa Sindh.
On the occasion, Provincial President Sardar Abu Bakar Khaskheli was honored with a traditional Sindhi turban by District President Mir Muhammad Dahiri, while other provincial leaders were presented with Sindhi ajraks as a gesture of respect.
The convention concluded with a unanimous resolution to intensify efforts to address the grievances of retired employees across the province.
