Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Meets with Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Discusses Interfaith Harmony and Peace

Peshawar, Jan. 6: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and Khateeb of Badshahi Mosque Lahore, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, at the Governor House in Peshawar. The meeting focused on promoting interfaith harmony, unity, and peace, as well as the role of scholars in achieving these goals.

The discussion also touched on the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kram District. Governor Kundi emphasized the need for unity and consensus among all schools of thought to ensure peace and stability in the country.

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad praised Governor Kundi’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the province, particularly in Kram District. The Governor presented Maulana Azad with a special shield on his arrival at the Governor House.

Governor Kundi announced plans to host a conference of scholars and religious leaders at the Governor House in Peshawar soon, highlighting the crucial role of scholars and religious leaders in the current national scenario.
