Awareness Walk Held in Tando Adam to Promote Importance of Vaccination
Sanghar: To mark the Sindh Government’s vaccination month, an awareness walk was organized under the leadership of District Health Officer Dr. Daulat Jamali and Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam, Hunain Tariq Shahani. The walk started from Taluka Hospital Tando Adam and concluded at the Assistant Commissioner’s Office.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Daulat Jamali highlighted the critical role of vaccinations in protecting children from life-threatening diseases. He urged parents to vaccinate their children, from birth to 59 months of age, to safeguard them from 12 preventable diseases.
Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani emphasized that the health and well-being of children are a collective responsibility and assured that the Sindh Government is actively fulfilling its duty to protect the younger generation.
Participants in the walk carried banners and placards displaying messages about the benefits of vaccination and its importance in preventing diseases.
Medical Superintendent of Taluka Hospital, Syed Fazal Shah, along with Dr. Daulat Jamali and Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani, appealed to parents to actively participate in the vaccination drive and ensure their children’s health.
The walk witnessed enthusiastic participation from healthcare professionals, Lady Health Workers, and citizens, demonstrating the community’s commitment to safeguarding children’s health.
