KPK Governor Faisal Karim Kundi Meets with Sikh Community Delegation
Peshawar, Jan. 7, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with a delegation of the Sikh community from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led by Baba Ji Gurpal Singh, at the Governor House in Peshawar.
The delegation apprised the Governor of the issues and problems faced by the Sikh community, including the construction of shamshan ghats in Attock and Bara Road. They also requested the Governor to facilitate the re-checking of examination papers for 33 Sikh students studying pharmacy at Peshawar University.
Governor Kundi acknowledged the valuable contributions of the Sikh community and other minorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emphasizing his commitment to protecting their religious, social, and personal rights. He also praised the community’s role in promoting interfaith harmony and social cohesion in the province.
