Larkana COCI hold meeting for increasing unrest in district

LARKANA : Due to the increase in street crime in the cities of Larkana district and the daily increase in incidents of unrest in other villages and towns, the Chamber of Commerce & Industries Larkana convened a meeting. Presiding over this emergency meeting of traders (COCI) Larkana President Khair Muhammad Sheikh expressed serious concern and said that the law and order situation in the district has deteriorated to the point that no trader or common person is safe. Criminals are openly looting cash, motorcycles, and mobile phones from shops and fleeing, but unfortunately, the administration is not taking any action. He added that the dirty water standing on the main roads of the city and encroachments inside the trade markets are increasing day by day. The meeting was attended by Hindu Panchayat Chairman and Senior Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Harish Lal, Vice President of the Federation of Traders Masood Ahmed Sheikh, President of the Sindh Balochistan Rice Millers and Traders Association Asad Ali Tunio and other businessmen also participated. On this occasion, two members of the executive committee of the Larkana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Asad Ali Tunio and Shamshad Ahmed Sheikh, were also sworn in.
