Protests by different parties for recognition of demands ، in Larkana

LARKANA : Different parties held separate protests in Larkana to get their demands recognized. According to details, the retired employees of Larkana Municipal Corporation, including innocent children, protested in front of the Press Club yesterday against the non-receipt of increased pension amount. On this occasion, Sarjeena Masih, Bilqis Masih, Kamla and others protested and said that we are young retired employees of the Municipal Corporation, while we have completed our service at different times and retired, but a few months ago, the Sindh government had issued a notification to increase the pension of retired employees of the local government, which is not being given to us in the amount of pension we are receiving, which is complete injustice. They demanded that the provincial minister for local government and mayor Larkana Anwar Ali Lahar should give us the increased amount monthly. On the other hand, Nadeem Chandio, Dildar, Zaferullah Chandio residents of village Lashkari Chandio of district Qambar Shahdadkot, who were left behind by the survey and staged a protest in front of the Press Club. On this occasion, they said that due to the dangerous rains during Shawal 2022, a flood situation had arisen due to which our houses were completely destroyed, due to which our names were not included in the survey list, so we are sitting under the open sky along with our children. They demanded from the higher authorities of the Sindh government to include our names in the house survey list and construct a government house so that we can take shelter along with our children. Meanwhile, Mumtaz Ali Junejo, a resident of Dokri city in Larkana, reached the Press Club and protested before the media, saying that I am extremely poor. I had my own place in Mohammad Chhuttal Junejo, village of Dokri , but my brothers have evicted me from my house and are refusing to give me a share of the place. He strongly demanded from the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Larkana to arrest my influential brothers and give me a share of the house legally, otherwise I will take extremely difficult steps, the responsibility of which will lie with the administration.
