Provincial Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri Orders Immediate Restoration of BDA Desalination Plant in Gaddani
Quetta, Jan. 8, Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Cooperative Societies, and Industries, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, has taken notice of the closure of the BDA desalination plant in Gaddani and issued orders to relevant authorities to make the plant operational immediately ¹.
During his recent visit to Hub, Chairman Municipal Committee Gaddani, Jan Sher, and Pakistan Peoples Party leader, Mir Mulla Bakhsh Bizenjo, brought to the minister’s attention the non-functionality of the desalination plant and the lack of interest by officials in resolving public issues.
Zehri assured Bizenjo and Sher that he will visit Gaddani again within 15 days to announce new development projects. The minister also informed a delegation of representatives that he has included the Check Dams project, a long-standing demand of the people of Gaddani, in the upcoming budget for the next financial year.
