Federal Ombudsman: Secretariat Sukkur Regional Head Syed Mehmood Ali Shah and Mehboob Ali Jagirani heard 35 cases and one dated against Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) and 36 cases against Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC). Held hearing at Circuit House Larkana for redressal of public grievances.
A large number of citizens from Larkana and surrounding areas attended the meeting and presented their complaints regarding electricity and gas services. Issues raised include prolonged power outages, inflated electricity bills, delays in new connections, low gas pressure, and other service inefficiencies.
Syed Mehmood Ali Shah assured the complainants that their issues would be resolved as soon as possible in accordance with the law. He emphasized on the role of Federal Ombudsman Secretariat in ensuring transparency and accountability in the delivery of public services.
During the hearing, SEPCO Circle Larkana Sadruddin Shaikh Stunt Commercial and SSGCL Larkana Saeed Ahmad Correjo Deputy Manager Billing and representatives were also present and directed to redress the grievances immediately. The regional head highlighted the importance of addressing such issues to improve quality of life and ensure public satisfaction.
