AJK Minister Vows to Upgrade Paramedics Institute to State-of-the-Art Facility
Muzaffarabad, Jan. 9,. Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Health, Nisar Ansar Abdali, has announced plans to upgrade the Allied Health Professionals Paramedics Institute in Gharhi Dopatta to a state-of-the-art facility. The institute, the first of its kind in the Muzaffarabad division, aims to provide professional training to paramedics according to international standards, enabling them to secure employment abroad.
During his visit to the institute, Abdali emphasized the government’s commitment to the health sector, stating that the institute will be developed into a model organization with all necessary resources provided in the upcoming budget. The minister also announced plans to affiliate the institute with the International Paramedics Association.
Principal Shafqat Malik briefed the minister on the institute’s various departments, while District Health Officer Dr. Amer Shahzad Chaudhry accompanied Abdali during the visit.
