Haris Jamal broke his own record by covering 21 km in 2 hours 13 minutes in Karachi Marathon yesterday.
Karachi: RK Sports Management CEO Rais Khan has congratulated 7-year-old marathon runner Mohammad Haris Jamal from Swabi for setting the Asian Championship record. Mohammad Haris Jamal broke his own record by covering a distance of 21 kilometers in 2 hours and 13 minutes in the half marathon of Karachi Marathon yesterday. In a meeting with Mohammad Haris Jamal, Rais Khan said that Haris Jamal has proved through his performance that there is no shortage of talent in the country. After setting a world record at the age of 6, now at the age of 7, Pakistan has made a name for itself in the whole world by winning the title of Asian Champion. He said that the government should encourage this young athlete and provide him all facilities at the government level so that he can make the country proud in international competitions as well. Rais Khan said that we could provide all the support including finding a sponsor for Haris Jamal from our platform. “My father Jamal Said is also the current Asian champion of ultra marathon. I always practice with them. My mother and younger sister are also marathon runners. I wish I could follow in my father’s footsteps and set more new records in the marathon.
