PAC of Balochistan Assembly reaches Gwadar on special trip
QUETTA: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Balochistan Assembly reached Gwadar on special visit, on Sunday.
The PAC’s delegation is being headed by the Chairman, Asghar Khan Tareen. Other members of PAC reached the port city were included: Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Zabid Ali Reki, Fazal Qadir Mandokhail and Additional Secretary PAC, Siraj Lehri.
The PAC was welcomed by the Member of Provincial Assembly from Gwadar, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch, Director General Gwadar Development Authority, Shafqat Anwar Shahwani, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar, Hamoodur Rehman, Chief Engineer GDA, Syed Muhammad, Chairman Municipal Committee Gwadar, Sharif Miandad and others.
Meanwhile, the luncheon was hosted in honour of PAC delegation by Commissioner Makran, Dawood Khan Khilji. Also present on the occasion were MPA and former Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and other political personalities.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman PAC said that the basic objective of PAC is to ensure transparency and accountability in the government institutions.
The PAC also visited GDA Model Park in the port city.
