Anti-Narcotics Force Foils Smuggling Attempt by Ugandan Woman at Karachi Airport

Karachi, Jan. 14, The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has successfully thwarted a smuggling attempt by a Ugandan woman at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. The woman, who arrived in Karachi from Entebbe via Dubai, was taken into custody.

During the investigation, the woman confessed to carrying cocaine-filled capsules inside her body. She was transferred to a hospital, where 11 capsules weighing 144 grams were recovered.

Further investigation revealed that the woman was supposed to deliver the narcotics to her Nigerian accomplice in Lahore. The ANF ensured that the woman remained in contact with her accomplice, and an intelligence team was deployed in Lahore to arrest the Nigerian national.

The successful operation demonstrates the ANF’s effective strategy and intelligence gathering capabilities in combating narcotics smuggling.
