Islamabad Police Arrest Suspect in Security Guard’s Murder
Islamabad, January 14: The Islamabad police have arrested a suspect, Asad Ali, in connection with the murder of a private company’s security guard, Adil Shehzad. The police recovered a pistol, believed to be the murder weapon, as well as the victim’s mobile phone, ATM card, and registration book from the suspect’s possession.
According to the police, Asad Ali shot and killed Adil Shehzad before fleeing the scene with the victim’s belongings. The DIG Islamabad took notice of the incident and ordered the immediate arrest of the suspect. A police team, using modern investigative techniques, apprehended Asad Ali and recovered the stolen items.
The suspect will be charged in court and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The Islamabad police have been praised for their swift action in solving the case. The IG Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasser Rizvi, and the DIG Islamabad have commended the police team for their excellent work.
