Larkana Police Crack Down on Narcotics Smugglers, Seize 30kg of Charas
Larkana, Jan 14, The Larkana police have successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics, arresting two key suspects and seizing 30 kilograms of charas. The operation was carried out under the directives of DIGP Larkana, Nasser Aftab.
According to reports, the Jacobabad police, led by SHO Sadar Inspector Saqib Ahmed Jumani, intercepted a Suzuki vehicle (registration number CS-4173) during a routine check at the bypass. Upon searching the vehicle, the police recovered a large quantity of charas and arrested two narcotics smugglers, identified as Ashiq Ali Abro, a resident of Dera Murad Jamali, and Saeed Ahmed Noon, a resident of Chandio Mohallah, both from Balochistan.
DIGP Larkana, Nasser Aftab, has announced cash rewards and commendations for the Jacobabad police team for their successful operation. The crackdown on narcotics smugglers is part of the police department’s efforts to curb the illegal trade and ensure public safety.
