Sindh Government Boosts Arts and Culture with New Initiatives
Karachi, Jan. 15, The Sindh government has decided to encourage artists, writers, and filmmakers to promote public awareness, local talent, and counter-terrorism narratives. This move aims to foster a vibrant cultural scene in the province.
In a meeting chaired by Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Content and Production Oversight Board discussed ways to support new filmmakers, writers, and artists. The board emphasized the importance of promoting local talent and encouraging artists to produce content that showcases Sindh’s rich cultural heritage.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Information Sindh Nadeem ur Rehman Memon, DG (PR) Salim Khan, Director Films Hizbullah Memon, and Deputy Director Sarang Latif Chandio, among others.
This initiative is part of the Sindh government’s efforts to promote arts and culture in the province. The government has been working to preserve and promote Sindh’s cultural heritage, including its archaeological sites, monuments, and traditional arts ¹.
