ANF Foils Attempt to Smuggle Heroin Worth Millions at Karachi Airport

Rawalpindi. Jan. 15: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of heroin out of the country at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.

During a search, 1.818 kilograms of heroin was recovered from a Sri Lankan national, who had expertly concealed the contraband in his luggage. The suspect was attempting to board a flight to Thailand.

A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and further investigation is underway. The ANF remains vigilant in its efforts to combat narcotics smuggling, both domestically and internationally.
