Gwadar Administration Cracks Down on Price Violators and Unhygienic Food Establishments
Gwadar, Jan. 16: On the directives of Assistant Commissioner Gwadar Mir Javed Ahmed Zehri, Tehsildar Gwadar Chengez Baloch conducted a thorough inspection of various shops, restaurants, and street vendors from Wahi Chowk to Syed Zahoor Shah Hashmi Chowk. The inspection focused on ensuring cleanliness, quality of goods, and adherence to the official price list.
During the inspection, the Tehsildar imposed heavy fines on several shops for violating the official price list and confiscated expired and unhealthy food items, destroying them on the spot. Tehsildar Chengez Baloch warned shopkeepers and restaurant owners that the administration would not compromise on public health and would not allow anyone to play with people’s health for personal gains.
He further emphasized that all shopkeepers must adhere to the official price list and ensure cleanliness. He also warned that strict action would be taken against those violating the law to ensure the provision of standard and safe goods to the public.
