Gwadar District Health Committee Meets to Address Key Health Issues
Gwadar. Jan. 16: A meeting of the District Health Committee was held in Gwadar, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Hamood-ur-Rehman. The meeting was attended by District Health Officer Dr. Abdul Latif Dashti, MS Mir Abdul Ghaffar Teaching Hospital Dr. Hafiz Baloch, and other officials.
During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given on the issues faced by the district’s health sector. Deputy Commissioner Hamood-ur-Rehman took strict notice of the absenteeism of doctors and staff in hospitals, directing that action be taken against chronically absent employees ¹.
He warned that doctors and staff who consistently failed to report to duty would face termination, and that no compromises would be made on public health issues. The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the functioning of the District Headquarters Hospital and other basic health units in the district.
The meeting aimed to address the key health issues in Gwadar district and ensure that the public receives quality healthcare services.
