Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Condolence Message on the Passing of Senior Journalist Javed Shahzad

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, the head of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and renowned Islamic scholar, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of senior journalist Javed Shahzad. He described him as an honest, dignified individual with profound affection for religious organizations. “I used to fondly refer to him as ‘Ameer-ul-Mulk,'” Dr. Qadri said.

In a video message conveyed through Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran, on Friday, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri highlighted that Javed Shahzad remained loyally and sincerely associated with their movement for a long time and made significant contributions to serving the cause of religion.

Dr. Qadri further said, “I pray to Allah Almighty to grant forgiveness and mercy to the departed soul of Javed Shahzad, elevate his ranks in Jannah, and bestow upon his family patience and resilience to bear this immense loss.”
