Islamabad, Jan. 17: Federal Minister for Kashmir and Northern Areas, Engineer Amir Muqam, welcomed the verdict in the £190 million case, stating that it is pleasing to see those who stole from the Pakistani people being held accountable. Muqam added that the accused, who had been vocal about others being thieves, have themselves been exposed as thieves. The minister emphasized that the case has proven the looting of billions of rupees belonging to the Pakistani people, and that the stolen money has been recovered.
