Two Levies cops suspended by DC: DG Levies takes notice of torture of Levies cops on driver in Hoshab

QUETTA: The Director General Levies Force Balochistan, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi has taken notice of the incident of alleged torture of a driver by Levies personnel in Hoshab area of Kech district, and sought a report from the district administration in the matter.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Kech suspended two officials of Levies including Dafardaqr Irshad Ahmed and sepoy Muhammad Younas, posted at the Sarbaz Levies check post in Hoshab.
He directed to the Assistant Commissioner to submit report in the matter by apppointing an Inquiry Officer to probe it within a week.
Meanwhile, DG Levies exhorted the force personnel to behave gently with the people, and serve them with dedication and extra passion so that they may get relief.
He said that the Levies respect and image would be improved if the personnel would perform diligently.
He stressed that public service must be priority of the Levies force.
