CM Balochistan Reiterates Commitment to Province’s Development

Nokundi, January 18: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to the development and prosperity of the province. Addressing a public gathering in Nokundi, Bugti emphasized that the state’s interests are paramount, and that futile wars will not yield any benefits.

Bugti stressed that the people of Balochistan stand with the state and their future is linked with Pakistan. He also highlighted the importance of education and skill development in combating unemployment. The government will provide scholarships, vocational training, and employment opportunities to youth, ensuring that no job is sold and merit-based recruitment is upheld.

The Chief Minister announced various development projects, including a grant of Rs 150 million for the Chaghi District Council and Rs 20 million for the civil hospital’s medicine budget. He also assured the establishment of a Danish Public School in Chaghi.

Bugti’s address comes as part of his efforts to engage with the local population and address their concerns. His government has taken measures to empower youth in Balochistan, including distributing scholarship cheques and planning to send 30,000 skilled youth abroad for employment.

The Chief Minister’s commitment to good governance, accountability, and efficiency in combating the misuse of funds is also noteworthy. With a development budget of Rs 210 billion allocated for the province, Bugti’s government aims to bring about a positive change in the lives of the people of Balochistan.
