AJK Population Welfare Department Launches Family Planning Awareness Campaign
Muzaffarabad, Jan. 19: The Population Welfare Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has launched an awareness campaign to educate people about family planning. The campaign, which began on January 14, aims to register and mark every household in the district, while also providing information on family planning.
District Population Welfare Officer Asadur Rehman Khan stated that the campaign’s scope is being expanded to cover every union council. The primary objective of the awareness campaign is to inform people about the benefits of family planning.
The department’s teams are visiting every household to collect data and provide information on family planning methods, benefits, and services available. The campaign is expected to continue until every household in the district is covered.
