Balochistan Government Expedites Efforts to Restore Roads, Provide Relief Amid Snowfall. Shahid Rind.

Quetta, January 19: The Balochistan government has intensified efforts to restore roads and provide relief to affected areas following heavy snowfall. Spokesperson for the Balochistan government, Shahid Rind, stated that teams from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) have been deployed to clear snow and restore roads ¹.

Rind assured that the PDMA is fully equipped to tackle the challenges posed by the severe winter weather. Emergency measures are underway to assist people in snow-affected areas, with rescue operations being closely monitored.

Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Safaraz Bugti, has taken a keen interest in overseeing these efforts, directing authorities to promptly address public concerns. Rind emphasized that all necessary resources are being utilized to provide immediate aid to those affected.

The PDMA staff is working around the clock to provide relief, with Rind appealing to the public to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel. He reassured that every possible effort would be made to support those impacted by the snowfall.
