Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Vows to Take Action Against Miscreants in Kurram District
Peshawar, Jan. 19: “The safety of the people shall be the highest law,” said the spokesperson of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, emphasizing the province’s commitment to maintaining law and order in Kurram district.

A high-level meeting was held to discuss the situation in Kurram, attended by top officials including the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, IG Police, and other civil and police officers. The meeting resolved to take strict action against miscreants without discrimination.
The government spokesperson assured that cruel elements will be brought to justice, and action against miscreants in affected areas has become inevitable. The peace agreement will be implemented according to law and Pashtun traditions, with security forces providing support to the police and civil administration.
This development comes amid concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in Kurram district, which has been plagued by sectarian violence and Taliban activities in recent years.
