Commissioner Kohat Visits TDPs Camp in Hangu, Ensures Adequate Support
Kohat, January 20: Commissioner Kohat Division, Syed Motasim Billah Shah, conducted a thorough visit to the TDPs camp in Hangu district, established for the Kurram victims. Accompanied by DIG Kohat Region Abbas Majeed Marwat, Deputy Commissioner Hangu Gohar Zaman Wazir, District Police Officer Khalid Khan, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Hangu Sajjad Hussain, the Commissioner assessed the relief activities, government initiatives, and overall situation in the area.
The visit aimed to identify areas for improvement and ensure that the Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) receive sufficient support and resources. Commissioner Motasim Billah Shah scrutinized the camp’s infrastructure, medical facilities, maintenance, services, food supply, and security arrangements, emphasizing the need for adequate facilities and services for the TDPs.
