New Gwadar Airport would prove to be adjuvant for promotion of trade & tourism at Intl. level: Bugti
QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that Gwadar International Airport is a milestone for development of the province, and it would put it on new path of prosperity and economic stability.
The Chief Minister said that the Gwadar Airport is a historic project not only for Pakistan but also for Balochistan, which would prove to be adjuvant for promotion of trade and tourism at the international level.
Marking the inauguration of new Gwadar International Airport, the Chief Minister said that the airport is equipped with modern technology and international standard facilities., which has the capacity to handle the big airplanes.
He said that the new Airport would connect the region with big cities of the world.
The Chief Minister believed that there would be marked development in investment, trade and tourism sectors with completion of the Gwadar Airport. This would directly benefit the people of province, he added.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the people would have opportunities of employment thanks to the mega project increasing the chances of training and livelihood for the youth.
He also said that people of Gwadar has always played key role in development of the province.
He said that the Gwadar International Airport is an important initiative under CPEC., which would make Balochistan, rather the whole country attractive and stable at international level.
He expressed the resolve to start such development projects, for bringing positive change in lives of the people.
He thanked all the government functionaries, local people and experts who participated in the inauguration ceremony of airport and said that its successful opening is outcome of joint efforts.
He reiterated that the development of province and public prosperity is his top priority, and all resources would be mobilized for the purpose.
