Sindh Celebrates RB Palijo’s 95th Birthday: A Legacy of Marxist-Leninist Thought, Proletarian Unity, and Resistance Against Feudalism and Imperialism

Hyderabad: 20 Jan: On the occasion of Rasool Bux Palijo’s 95th birthday, units of the Awami Tahreek and Sindhiyani Tahreek across Sindh organized heartfelt celebrations to honor his legacy. The events, marked by the cutting of birthday cakes, were held in various cities and towns, bringing together activists, political leaders, and supporters to pay tribute to Palijo’s lifelong commitment to social justice, proletarian independence, and internationalism.
Born in 1930, Rasool Bux Palijo was the founder of Awami Tahreek and a fierce advocate for Sindhi rights, global solidarity, and the empowerment of the working class. His Marxist-Leninist-Maoist principles shaped his lifelong struggle against feudalism, capitalism, and imperialism. The celebrations served as a reminder of his enduring influence on the Sindhi nationalist movement and his global vision for the oppressed.
