Peshawar: January 20, Under the ongoing campaign by Capital City Police against weapon display and firing in the air, police from Agha Mir Jani Shah and Regi police stations, acting on the identification by the social media team, carried out operations and arrested three more individuals for uploading videos of weapon displays and firing in the air on social media. During the operations, weapons were also recovered from the arrested suspects, and cases have been registered against them while the investigation is underway.
According to details, Peshawar Police has launched a special and strict campaign against weapon display and air firing at weddings and other events. In this regard, the police from Regi and Agha Mir Jani Shah stations carried out operations based on the identification by the social media team. Three additional suspects, Nazif, Suleman, and Sahabzada, were arrested for displaying weapons and firing in the air. Weapons were also recovered from their possession. Cases have been registered against them, and the investigation has started.
