Armed robbery of lakhs of rupees from media house, investigation launched

LARKANA: Unrest broke out in Larkana, loot of lakhs of rupees from the office of a media house and a daily Sindhi newspaper, thieves stole computers, printers and other valuables and fled. According to details, unknown thieves broke into the office of a private media house and a daily Sindhi newspaper in the VIP Road area of Civil Line police station in Larkana city late last Monday night, broke the locks of the office and stole 3 computers, a printer, 2 stabilizers and an LCD TV worth lakhs of rupees and fled. The incident was reported to the police in the morning by the affected journalist, who reached the spot along with DSP Civil Line Khadim Buledi and SHO Munawar Khaskheli, police personnel, forensic and CCTV camera teams and started an investigation. In this regard, the administration of the affected private media house and daily Sindhi newspaper. The IG Sindh, DIG and SSP Larkana have been strongly requested to arrest the thieves involved in the theft and return the stolen goods, otherwise there will be a strong protest.
