PPP Opposes Proposed Canals from Indus River

Hassnian Saand Sanghar. Jan. 23: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has expressed strong opposition to the proposed construction of six canals from the Indus River. Former Senator Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen stated that the party is vocalizing its resistance on every platform, dismissing claims that former President Asif Ali Zardari had approved the project. Shouqeen assured that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the party leadership are united against the proposal.
