Wholehearted efforts to be made for completion of all development schemes of LG&RD: Domki
QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LG&RD), Sardar Kohyar Khan Domki has stated that wholehearted endeavours would be made for completion of all the development schemes of the department. He said that the process of tender of approved 763 schemes have been completed under the recent Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), which is welcoming.
He said that the environment friendly park for recreation of citizens, roads, sewerage system, solar system, tough tiles, modern street lights under solar system are included in the development projects.
He said that all officers have been issued directives for timely completion of the development projects and provision of better services in the department.
The Minister LG&RD was chairing review meeting of the development projects and ongoing PSDP here at the Directorate of LG&RD on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Secretary LG&RD, Abdul Rauf Baloch, Director General, Agha Zulfiqar Shah, Divisional Directors and other concerned officials.
Addressing the meeting, Secretary LG&RD said that all officers of the department have been asked to ensure process of completion of development schemes within stipulated time.
He said that the process of tendering would be made transparent and quality of work would be ensured.
The Provincial Minister appreciated the efforts of all field officers for completing tendering process of the schemes.
Meanwhile, the Minister went round of the Rural Development Academy’s Directorate.
