Crackdown on Non-Custom Paid Vehicles and Narcotics Launched in Balochistan

Quetta, January 24, 2025: The government of Balochistan has launched a month-long joint operation against non-custom paid (NCP) vehicles and narcotics in various districts, including Quetta, Mastung, Surab, Khuzdar, Qalat, Noshki, Turbat, and Naseerabad.

Led by the Excise Department, the operation involves the Customs Department, Police, and Levies Forces. During the operation, Excise and Taxation Department, along with Police and Levies, conducted road checking at various points in Turbat, including Dera Bugti and M8 Road Bilda Cross, resulting in the removal of illegal number plates, black-tinted papers, and confiscation of unauthorized books ¹.

Similar actions were taken in Noshki, where the Excise Department, along with Customs, Police, Levies, and QRF teams, seized several illegal vehicles. The operation, which began on January 21, 2025, will continue for a month.

This crackdown is part of the government’s efforts to curb illegal activities and ensure public safety. The public is advised to cooperate with the authorities and provide information about illegal vehicles and narcotics.
