Chman Goes Green: DC Chaman Launches Tree Plantation Drive
Chaman, Jan. 28: Deputy Commissioner Chaman, Habib Ahmed Bangulzai, kick-started a tree plantation drive under the “Green Chaman Program” at the Shaheed Ground. The initiative aims to plant one million trees in Chaman, mitigating air pollution, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing the city’s beauty.
This effort is part of a broader program to combat the effects of climate change and transform Chaman into a lush, green city. The event was attended by AC Chaman Muhammad Afzal, Deputy Mayor Muteeullah Khan Achakzai, district forest officer, and other officials, along with volunteers.
The tree plantation drive is expected to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of Chaman’s residents, while also contributing to a cleaner environment.
