CM felicitates all office bearers winning BUJ’s annual elections
QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has extended felicitation to all office bearers who won the annual elections of Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) for 2025-2026.
In a felicitation message on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that victory of the Journalists Panel is manifestation of confidence of journalist community on it.
He greeted the newly elected President, Khalil Ahmed, Senior Vice President, Manzoor Ahmed, General Secretary, Abdul Ghani Kakar, Vice President, Nazar Baloch, Finance Secretary, Abdul Jabbar Baloch, senior Joint Secretary, Ibrar Ahmed, Joint Secretary, Fazal Tawab and other successful members of the working body.
He expressed the hope that the newly elected office bearers would play wholehearted role in promotion of journalism and protection of rights of media persons.
He said that independent and responsible journalism is base of the democracy and government would continue every possible cooperation to resolve the issues of journalists and ensure their protection.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the election committee and all members of BUJ on successful holding of the elections. He said that we are always standing with the journalist community for their unity and professional strength.
