New Gwadar International Airport to Usher in New Era of Prosperity in Balochistan
Quetta, Jan. 29: Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment, Bilal Khan Kakar, has stated that the operationalization of the New Gwadar International Airport will open up new avenues of development and prosperity in Balochistan. The airport, along with the Gwadar Deep Sea Port, will establish Balochistan as a crucial region for trade and commerce ¹.
Kakar emphasized that Balochistan, with its strategic location at the confluence of Central Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia, is poised to emerge as a vibrant hub for investment and trade. The province’s unique geography, abundant natural resources, and regulatory reforms make it an attractive destination for businesses and investors.
The New Gwadar International Airport, Gwadar Port, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are transforming Balochistan into a major commercial and export center. With its operationalization, the airport is expected to facilitate domestic and international flights, further boosting the region’s economic growth.
