Ghalanai. January 28. Officers of various government schools and hospitals in Mohmand district are treating Class Four students illegally and contrary to custom and tradition. These views were expressed by tribal elders of various tehsils of Mohmand district, namely Halimzai, Turgazai, Baizai, Khowaizai, Safi, Pandiali, Pang Ghar and Ambar tehsil, while addressing a jirga at Mohmand Press Club.
The jirga was attended by Malik Sahib Dad, Malik Nusrat Khan Turgazai, Malik Iqrar Khan, Malik Nader Manan Kodakhel, Malik Amir Nawaz Khan, Malik Ziarat Gul, Malik Makhmur Khan, Malik Aurangzeb Khan, Attaullah Halimzai, Malik Ahmed Khowaizai, PTI’s Savid Khan and other elders.

The elders said that all the Mohmand people of Mohmand district have reached a unanimous agreement that the officers of various government departments in Mohmand district are treating the class forces illegally and contrary to custom and are exceeding their powers and we, the Mohmand people, strongly condemn this. They said that if any department official takes any illegal step in the future, they will resist them vigorously.

The elders said that the class forces of schools, hospitals, etc. who are already in their respective areas will perform their duties.

They said that the class forces who have taken pension should be replaced by people from their families.

The IMEV people will not take action against any class forces. If any IMEV person takes action against any class force, all the elders will resist them vigorously.
