19th Convocation at SZBST Larkana, 117 Students Awarded Degrees

LARKANA: Tthe 19th annual convocation program of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Science & Technology (SZBST) University Larkana Campus was held at a local hotel in the city. The special guests were the Vice Chancellor of the university, IBA University Sukkur, Asif Ahmed Nawaz Sheikh, Member of the Board of Governors, Zaheer Hussain Shajra, ZBST Vice President Admin and HR Dr. Imtiaz Qazi and other Education and Social Sciences Dr. Riaz Ahmed Sheikh, Head of Campus Dr. Zahida Abro, Registrar Dr. Muhammad Aqil, faculty members, students, their parents and people from different walks of life participated in large numbers. 177 students of different programs were awarded degrees. On this occasion, the program was inaugurated by IBA University Sukkur Vice Chancellor Asif Ahmed Sheikh and others. 10 students who demonstrated outstanding performance and In the undergraduate program, students Bushra of Bachelor of Administration, Akash of BS Accounting and Finance, Abdul Qadir of BS Computer Science, Saeeda Haqiqa of Master of Business Administration and Asadullah Soomro of Master of Project Management were awarded gold medals, while 5 students and students in the undergraduate program, Janat Al Firdous of Bachelor of Graduates, Habib Rehman of BS Accounting and Finance, Muhammad Hasnain of BS Computer Science, Ayesha of Master of Business Administration, and Tawfiq Ahmed of Master of Project Management were awarded silver medals, while 41 students and students were honored by being included in the Chancellor’s auto roll for exceptional academic performance. Later, the students and students who received degrees were administered the oath, who expressed their happiness by waving their caps in the air. Addressing the convocation, the special guest, Vice Chancellor of IBA University Sukkur, Asif Ahmed Sheikh, said: Research should not only be for high-quality papers, while it is important to have skills and knowledge to achieve success, but also to solve real-world problems and work for the betterment of deprived communities, because skills are necessary for success. My goal is not only to advance my university but also to help other universities because cooperation between other universities is to prove the advancement of education. He added that it is necessary to work extra hard to achieve the goal. It is clear that Japanese people do not speak English, but still they are successful because they have an innate spirit of hard work. After parents, teachers play an important role in the lives of students because teachers are like a tree who always give priority to guiding students. Students should learn to give back to their institutions, organizations and fraternities. He added that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah made great sacrifices to build the country, so students should make efforts to serve the country better. The moral training of students is also as important as development for the survival of the country. He said that IB A campus is also being opened in Ghotki district by the E-University Sukkur where scholarships will be given to poor students. At present, the number of scholarships in the IBA University Sukkur has been increased from 350 to 750, where free education is being provided to the children of poor farmers. He said that arrangements will also be made to open a campus in Qambar Shahdadkot district where separate facilities will be provided for male and female students, with the aim of making education accessible in backward areas. Those present at the ceremony said that the Zebst University has always promoted quality education and today is proof of this that we have completed another academic year and it is believed that these students will play an important role in improving the country’s economy.
