CM Balochistan taking revolutionary steps for public welfare including sports, education: Tariq Bugti

QUETTA: The President, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), Mir Tariq Hussain Bugti has stated that the Chief Minister Balochistan is taking revolutionary steps for the public welfare including uplift of education and health sectors in the province.
The President PHF was speaking on occasion of the final of Chief of Army Staff Inter Club National Hockey Championship Balochistan at the General Musa hockey ground located in the Ayub Stadium on Thursday.
Mir Tariq Hussain Bugti said that we are thankful to the Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir on provision of wholehearted support to the national sport, hockey.
He said that inter-district, divisional and provincial level competitions were organised for promotion of hockey at the grassroots level.
He said that while the final of Balochistan hockey team is being played today, the victorious team would participate in the national championship to be held in Lahore.
He said that the Chief of Army Staff would be the chief guest at the final of National Hockey Championship on February 15.
He mentioned that the hockey players have returned from Oman after qualifying for the Junior World Cup because of the attention of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
He also appreciated the initiative of provincial government about provision of opportunities of scholarships to students in abroad.
Moreover, it is also commendable to provide free scholarships to students of Balochistan in educational institutions of Punjab.
He said that if anyone has paid special attention on education after Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, he is Mir Sarfraz Bugti. He said that the people of Balochistan would get fruits of the initiatives of Chief Minister after 15 to 20 years.
