Ghalanai. January 31. The opening ceremony of the polio campaign was held in Mohmand, Ghalnai. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Yasir Hassan and MNA Sajid Khan Mohmand, health department staff and scholars administered polio drops to children. The campaign will continue from February 3 to February 7.
According to the details, the polio campaign was formally inaugurated at the Ghalnai DC Office, the headquarters of the tribal district of Mohmand. In which Deputy Commissioner Mohmand Muhammad Yasir Hassan, MNA Sajid Khan Mohmand, scholars and local elders along with the health department staff formally inaugurated the campaign by administering polio drops to children.
On this occasion, Dr. Ikram told the media that the campaign will start on February 3 and will continue for four days until February 7. In which 112,469 children under the age of five will be administered polio drops. For which a total of 473 teams, 30 mobile and 10 transit teams have been formed. DC Mohmand Muhammad Yasir Hassan and MNA Sajid Khan Mohmand, while addressing the gathering, appealed to parents, scholars and the public to play their role in making this campaign a success. We all have the responsibility to completely rid our area and country of polio from this disease. An awareness walk was also organized on this occasion, the aim of which is to make the polio campaign a success and raise awareness.
